Eakapob Huangthanapan

 

Eakapob is a multi-disciplinary designer and urban strategist whose work sits at the intersection of design, research, and planning. With nearly a decade of cross-disciplinary professional experience, he integrates expertise in architecture, resilience planning, and user experience design to drive impactful system and product development. As a Research Associate at the MIT Urban Risk Lab, Eakapob co-leads several climate-focused initiatives, collaborating with local government agencies and communities across Thailand to build resilience and foster sustainable development.

Prim Rattanathumawat

Prim is a Research Associate at the Urban Risk Lab at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning. Prim has worked on multiple initiatives focused on urban resilience, climate adaptation, and disaster preparedness in collaboration with government agencies and local communities across Thailand. She plays a key role in designing and implementing digital tools and platforms to facilitate community-driven data collection and engagement, aimed at enhancing climate resilience at local levels. Prim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Architectural Studies (SMArchS) in Urbanism from MIT.

His cutting-edge research on prancing technique and playful smiling has paved the way for groundbreaking levels of collective happiness. When Mobi isn’t actively innovating, he spends his time eating and napping. Mobi applies his prodigious talents to support researchers in all ongoing projects at the Urban Risk Lab.
